Terms of Use
Rules for purchasing, unlocking and using the BALQ PWA.
1. Provider and scope
These terms apply to the use of the PWA “BALQ” provided by , , , , email .
The full version costs a one-time €8.99. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. It is not a subscription. The order, tax, withdrawal and payment information shown at checkout also applies.
2. Function and use
BALQ is used for personal documentation of training, exercises, sets, reps, weights, records, plans, notes and body measurements. You receive a revocable, non-transferable right to use the app for private purposes.
The app can be used without an account. Your data is stored locally on your device. To switch devices, you can create an export file under “Backup & Restore” and import it on another device.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries, for backing up your data and for protecting your device. Export a backup regularly if your data matters to you.
Prohibited in particular are abusive access, circumventing security measures, disrupting the service, automated bulk requests and unlawful content.
3. License and activation
After a successful purchase you receive a personal license key. It may only be used within the activation limit stated at purchase and must not be published, sold or passed on without authorisation.
Once activated, the license grants unlimited-time access to the purchased version of BALQ. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime and availability of the product; it creates a claim to unlimited future feature updates or to indefinite operation of certain third-party services only if this was expressly promised at purchase.
In the event of a refund, chargeback, misuse or violation of these terms, the license key may be deactivated to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
4. Fitness and health notice
BALQ is not a medical device and does not replace medical, physiotherapeutic or professional training advice. Statistics and analyses are for personal orientation only. Train according to your health and experience. In case of pain, dizziness, injuries or health concerns, stop training and seek professional advice.
The app does not prescribe a training method and does not guarantee progress or any particular physical results.
5. Content, export and import
The content you enter remains yours. BALQ stores it locally in your device's browser storage. Exporting creates a JSON file that you must save, transfer and protect yourself.
Importing a backup file replaces the current local app data on this device. Before importing, check whether you still need the existing version.
6. Availability, changes and liability
During a beta, features may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. Mandatory statutory rights, in particular warranty and consumer rights, remain unaffected.
Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law. Liability is not excluded for intent, gross negligence, personal injury or mandatory statutory liability. For avoidable data loss, the failure to use the available export function may be taken into account.
7. Termination and governing law
You can end local use at any time by deleting your data and removing the PWA.
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, insofar as this does not restrict mandatory consumer protection rights at a consumer's habitual residence. If any provision is invalid, the remaining terms remain unaffected.
